Question:
What are the differences between the TruXedo Pro X15 and Lo Pro? I will use it on a 2016 RAM 2500 short bed with a 5th wheel. My primary concern is interference with the side rails.

Both of the Truxedo tonneau covers you mentioned are a confirmed fit for your 2016 Ram 2500 6-1/2 foot bed but the difference between the Pro X15 part # TX1446901 and the Lo Pro QT part # TX546901 is how low of a profile you want. The Lo Pro will sit above the bed rails about 1 inch whereas the Pro 15 sits only about 1/2 inch above the bed rails. The 15 in the name represents the angle of the side rails which is what allows it to sit lower.
