Recommended Flat Tow Setup For 2022 Chevy Spark LT With Manual Transmission

I have a 2022 Chevy Spark LT manual and am wanting to flat tow it behind my motorhome. What parts do I need?

We have exactly what you are looking for.
Starting with the base plate kit I recommend the Roadmaster Direct Connect # RM-523202-5 which is a confirmed fit for your 2022 Chevy Spark LT with the manual transmission as long as you do not have the ACTIV option. This kit has removeable arms so that when you are not flat towing you can remove them and help the kit better blend in to the front of your vehicle.
For a compatible tow bar I recommend the Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-522 as it has a 6,000lb towing capacity which will be plenty for your Spark, and the non-binding arms are great as they make it very easy to unhook your tow bar even if you are not parked on level ground.
Moving on to safety cables I recommend the RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643 as they have the same 6,000lb rating as the tow bar so they will pair up nicely.
Next is tow bar wiring so I recommend the Roadmaster Tail Light Wiring Kit with Bulbs # RM-155 as it completely bypasses your factory wiring and adds additional lights to your tail light housing for your motorhome to power. This is required due to your Spark having variable voltage taillights.
For a supplemental braking system I recommend going with the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR as it is very easy to install, and since it gets completely removed when you are done flat towing it can be used in multiple vehicles if desired. For your vehicle you will also need to add the 12v outlet kit # RM-9332.
To finish up the parts needed I recommend the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch for Towed Vehicle w/ Supplemental Braking System # RM-766 which will allow you to easily disconnect your battery before flat towing.
You may also need a high-low adapter to level your tow bar to your tow vehicle so I have included a link to a helpful article that goes over how to measure for the correct adapter, and a link to our selection of high-low adapters for you to look through.
I highly recommend checking out the recreational towing section of your owner's manual as it goes over flat towing restrictions and the special steps needed to make your Spark ready to be flat towed.
