Replacing a Dometic set-up AC unit, I suggest the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Dometic Setup w/ Start Capacitor, # ACDOM150. This is a 15,000 Btu unit with a white cover and a start capacitor that helps to "jumpstart" the AC when a campsite or generator doesn't provide enough power. This is done by way the capacitor storing energy that will later be used for the next startup. This plugs directly into your Dometic setup and works seamlessly with your existing, in-good-working-order Dometic air distribution box and thermostat. This eliminates the need of an adapter wiring kit, which saves you time and effort.
# ACDOM135 is the 13,500 Btu version with start-up capacitor. With the 15,000 Btu version with a black cover being # ACDOM150B and # ACDOM135B being the black cover 13,500 Btu unit.
