To replace the existing Dometic Duo Therm AC on your 2000 Holiday Rambler I highly recommend the Advent Air # ACDOM150 because it was designed specifically to replace Dometic setups as long as yours has the needed 6-pin connector already. I also reached out to my contact at Advent Air regarding your specific application and he said that it will be a perfect option for your older model Duo Therm, although I would still check to make sure your existing setup uses that 6-pin connector. You will be able to use your current vent assembly and your current wall mounted thermostat will just need to be wired into the new system (it will come with a detailed diagram to assist with this).
This is a 15,000 Btu AC that also comes with a start capacitor that will used stored energy to kick it on when needed. This greatly reduces the amount of power you will need to draw from your power source (battery, generator, etc).
I have attached the written installation instructions that you can check out as well.

Hello. I have a 2007 Pilgrim travel trailer made by Pilgrim International, now out of business. I have a 15000 btu Dometic/Duo-Therm ducted roof top A/C unit. Model #59516.531, S/N 609 3052. The trailer also has an analog thermostat. Would like to know what unit will work as a replacement without modifications. Could change thermostat if needed so long as existing wiring can be used. Must be for a ducted system and thermostat rather than controls and ac coming straight out from the unit itself. Please advise if you can. Thanks
