What Lift Kit Do You Recommend for My 4400 Pound Dexter Spring Axles?

Updated 09/29/2021 | Published 09/28/2021

Question:

I need to lift lift my 10200 lb GVWR dual axle 5th wheel trailer. I have recently changed out my truck that sits a little higher. I have about 5 inches clearance between the trailer and the truck bed sides. More important I have problems with my rear jacks scraping the ground when leaving my driveway. I think about a 3 inch lift, give or take, would solve or at least reduce my problem. The axles are already on the bottom of the leaf springs. Axles are Dexter 635096, 4400 lb GAWR. Is there a lift kit that will solve my problem? Welcome to suggestions. Thanks

Since it sounds like you already have a factory or aftermarket over/under kit like the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-385-00 on your 3,500 pound spring axles, the only other option is to replace your existing hangers with longer ones. I went ahead and attached a listing of all of our hangers that we currently carry.
