Blue Ox Base Plate Kit Fascia Trimming Instructions For A 2021 Jeep Cherokee

Question:
We are in the process of changing our towed vehicle behind our diesel M H. We will need the base plates, Blue Ox tow bar, for a 2021 Jeep Cherokee, does the parts come with a video or some detailed instructions as how to install it, also how much of the front grill do I need to remove to properly install it?

The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1144 does come with a set of instructions for proper installation.
According to the installation manual, models with shutters in the bumper will need the fascia to be trimmed to allow room for the electrical. On the back side of the fascia remove the middle shutter to allow room to attach electrical bracket. Set aside shutter to be trimmed and reinstalled later. Cut a hole in the top of the shutter housing to run electrical through and install electrical bracket using two (2) 1/4” bolts with hardware.
