Question:
Does the wiring need to be upgraded if I go from a WFCO WF 8753P to a PD4045KA. I currently have a 10 gauge wire coming from the battery positive and a 8 gauge from negative to ground.

Expert Reply:
This will depend on the length of your 10 Gauge Wire # 10-1-1.
To ensure that your 10 gauge wire is sufficient for the Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger # PD4045KA it should be no longer than 20'. If your cable is longer it should be an 8 gauge wire for lengths up to 35' and 6 gauge wire if longer than 35'.
