Can you give the dimensions of this adapter? I am trying to adapt your e98968 base plate to a Reese Adjustable Tow Bar 7014200.

As you are using the etrailer Classic Base Plate Kit # e98968 on your 2015 Ford Fiesta you will want to use our Adapter for Reese Tow Champ or Valley Industries Tow Bar to etrailer Classic Base Plates # e98980 to ensure proper fitment in the baseplate.
This Adapter # e98980 has an opening of 2-1/8" between the ears with 1-1/8" from the pin hole center to the back of the adapter. The pin hole fits a 1/2" pin. I have included an image to ensure you can see the measurement points.
