Troubleshooting Drive DVD3000 That Won't Read CDs or DVDs

Question:

My dvd3000 has a DVD issue ,it loads DVDs but does not play,face shows loading but does not progress or play music. Everything else works fine ,radio,BT,etc.

If you're having issues with your Drive DVD3000 # 324-000148 where the discs load but won't read, the most common cause is a dusty lens or scratched disc; the lens also could be damaged, but it's less likely. You'll want to obtain a lens cleaner kit from an electronic store and see if that helps the issue. If that does not resolve your issues, the unit will likely need to be replaced.
