Question:

The Blue Ox website doesnt list a baseplate for the 2013-2014 VW Jetta Sportwagen. I have a 2013 in my driveway. The car frame is identical to previous years 2009-2012. Will this fit? The bodies on 2009 thru 2014 VW Jetta Sportwagens are all the same with cosmetic upgrades to the front bumper. The Blue Ox system Ive got on my 2004 VW Jetta Wagon has worked flawlessly.

While there's a chance the Blue Ox part # BX3830 could fit your 2013 Volkswagen Jetta Sportwagen with modifications it's not something we can confirm or give more info on how much modification it would require. Instead our best option is the Roadmaster base plate kit that does fit your vehicle with the # 521235-1 which we know will fit and work great. So to continue using your Blue Ox tow bar you'd want the adapter part # BX88178.
