Does Adding Trailer Hitch to 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid Void Warranty

I have a 2018 Pacifica hybrid I would like to tow an 18 foot boat behind it but I’m not sure if I install a trailer hitch if it would void any warranties would you happen to know?

Adding a trailer hitch receiver to your 2018 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid will not void your warranty because you are protected by what is called the Federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. This act says if something breaks on your vehicle and you take it in for warranty repair, the dealer must honor your warranty unless whatever you have added to your vehicle or its installation actually caused the problem in question.

I do recommend checking your owners manual for capacities and abiding by those limits, however. As for the hitch and wiring for towing, here is exactly what you will need for your '18 Pacifica Hybrid:
