Is there an anti rattle locking hitch pin which would eliminate the necessity of the anti rattle clip?

The Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack # TH903202 will only fit a 1-1/4" or 2" receiver directly. You can use a Brophy Hitch Reducer and Extender # HR26 that will allow for the stinger to fit on your vehicle. The stinger that holds the rack into the receiver will not work on a 2-1/2" or 3" receiver.
The Curt Anti-Rattle Hitch Clamp # C87UR will take the rattle out of the extender and allow for the entire bike rack to be solid as it has its own built in anti-rattle for the 2" or 1-1/4" receivers. Be sure to also use a etrailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98881 to secure the extender to your vehicle as the Thule rack also has its own built in lock for your 2" extender.
