Hello, What is the width of the bottom footing on these load stops? Are they 3/4? And if so, could they be used in the channels of Thule Wingbar Evo cross bars? In the description for the load stop, it says it will work for AeroBlade cross bars, just wondering about Wing at Evo. Also, what mounting hardware is required for these load stops? I would like to retrofit them to be able to make a ladder rack for my 2006 Volvo XC70 out of Thule Rapid Crossroad feet and Wingbar Evo bars. Thank you!

I have a great solution for you. Unfortunately, while Thule could not verify the channel slide piece of the Replacement Load Stop for Thule Ladder Racks # 8537165, my contact at Thule confirmed that the load stop will not be able to fit into the channels of WingBar Evo crossbars on your 2006 Volvo XC70.

With this news, the best bet is to use the load stops with the Thule AeroBlade Edge Roof Rack for Factory Side Rails TH7502B-TH7503B. This AeroBlade Edge crossbar system will fit on your raise rails of your 2006 Volvo XC70. Since the load stop channel slide piece will fit the AeroBlade channels, this is the best option.

As far as the hardware you need to attach the load stops, I confirmed with Thule that you will need a set of these parts for each single load stop on your crossbars:
