Question:
I am seriously looking at the Redarc Trailer Brake Controller - RED24FR. Is there an installation video? If difficult I would pay a shop to install. I will be pulling a one-axle A-Liner and do not expect to be off-road much of the time. Also considering the Curt Echo Wireless Item # C51180 to save installation cost but leery of some of the negative reviews.

I would be happy to help, but we do not have an install video of the # RED24FR in a 2015 Honda Pilot like yours.
The difficulty of installing the Redarc Liberty Trailer Brake Controller # RED24FR in your 2015 Honda Pilot will be dependent on if you have the factory tow package or not.
If you have the factory tow package then all you will need to do is drill a hole to mount the control knob, and use the Plug In Wiring Adapter # RED59FR to plug into the factory trailer brake controller port underneath the dash of your vehicle.
If you do NOT have the factory tow package then the install will be a little more in-depth. You will need to add a 7-way connector # 118265. This does not add a trailer brake controller port so you would need to hardwire the # RED24FR by using the # RED69FR and making the following connections:
Red wire of controller harness to cold side wire of stop light switch that only has power when brake pedal is pressed. Using circuit tester # PTW2993 will help find the correct wire.
Black wire of controller harness to positive terminal of battery using # 5506 and included 30 amp circuit breaker
White wire of controller harness gets wired to the negative terminal of your battery or a ground location.
Blue wire of controller harness gets wired to the 5 o'clock pin of your 7-way connector. You will need to run # 10-1-1 from the controller to the 7-way.
If you do not have the factory tow package using the Curt Echo Wireless # C51180 you were looking at would be a much easier option as it does not require any wiring due to it plugging in to the 7-way connector.
There have been some negative reviews on the Echo, but in general we have seen great things with it and its easy of use/installation.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
