Will the RoadActive Suspension RAS4617 Affect Off-Road Performance?

Question:

Hello! I have a 2021 Chevy Colorado ZR2 and I was curious if the RAS4617 will affect the off-road performance and articulation of the suspension? The description states that it will not affect the spring rate when unloaded, but what about articulation? If it does, how difficult are they to uninstall on the ZR2? I have read that it requires replacing the leaf shackles? Can I see a copy of the installation instructions beforehand? Im looking for a bit of help with sagging when towing, but I dont want to hinder mess up what makes a ZR2 a ZR2.. Thanks!

The RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS4617 will definitely help with the sagging you are experiencing while towing. These can also be used when travelling basic back roads and light off-roading situations, but will affect the articulation in more severe situations.

With that being said, after the initial install that will require the included replacement spring shackles, these take about 30 minutes to detach. This will require jacks that attach to the frame so the axle can hang freely, but is definitely doable.
