Stock leaf springs can get harsh when you add helper springs, but this setup is different. I still wish I went with the heavier modal. But overall it’s a very good product. I just needed a heavier duty version.

Well It has not failed me yet. Being basically a spring under load all the time I am assuming the spring will stretch some over time and I will have to adjust tension accordingly. The pickup sits nicely on the thinner washer setting so I am leaving it there and hopefully that will help the system last longer.

Still pleased. After the initial review I replaced the rear shocks with Bilstein 5100s and put Bilstein 5100 adjustable struts on front raising it about 2 inches. The result was a 1 inch rake with no load, and a level rake with my boat attached. Just what I was trying to get.
