Can The Rhino-Rack Heavy Duty Crossbars Be Cut To Length For My Camper

Question:

The track length varies. However, I need to know if the width can be narrowed. The crossbars are 59” long. Can they be cut down to fit a narrower camper? Or, are the mounts fixed to the crossbar?

Yes, the Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Crossbars can be cut to length, so you would be able to put them on a narrower camper. The Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells - Track Mount - Silver - 59" Long, part # Y01-130B, has tracks that would mount to the top of your camper with T-bolts. Please keep in mind that some drilling will be required. Once the tracks are installed you can mount the Rhino Rack legs. These legs can be adjusted anywhere along the tracks with the quick-release trigger system and they can be locked in place, securing the roof rack to your vehicle. Lastly, the Heavy-Duty crossbars work with all the Rhino-Rack heavy duty accessories.
