Looking for a roof rack to install on a leer topper shell. Do I need an sort of special mounting brackets?

There are roof racks available that you will be able to install on your Leer camper. There are no special mounting brackets needed, but you will need to install tracks that the roof rack feet will sit in, and the crossbars will then attach to the feet.
The correct bars are going to depend on the length you need, so you'll want to take a measurement of the width of the camper shell and choose from there; you can also choose from either silver or black crossbars. The correct rack will be from Rhino-Rack, and is one of the following:
- 59" Long Crossbars: Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells # Y01-130B
- 65" Long Crossbars: Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Bar Roof Rack for Camper Shells # Y01-140B
