What are the Dimensions of the Replacement Upper Spring Rack'em Tailgate Assist # RA-DB3?

Question:

Looking at the questions about this spring there are two different answers for the length. One shows the 10.5 as the spring body an the other has is from eye to eye. Looking to verify the spring length eye to eye and the outer diameter of the coil. I have an older horse trailer with side assist ramp springs were the body is 1.75 in diameter and 7.5 in long with the total eye to eye length of 10.5. The RA-DB3 seams to be the closest I have found.

I went ahead and called my contact at Rack'em, and he confirmed that the distance between the center-eye to center-eye of the Replacement Upper Spring # RA-DB3 is 9-1/2 inches while the measurement from the outer edge of the eye to the out edge of the eye is 10-1/2 inches. As far as the diameter of the springs, it is 1-1/2 inches. I went ahead and added some diagrams with the measurements to this answer to give you some perspective.
