Video Transcript for Review of Meyer Snow Plow Trip Spring - ME77JR

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Meyer Snowplow trip spring. Now, the job of this spring is to protect both your plow and the truck when the blade hits something solid, like a curb or a manhole cover or a frozen obstacle. When that happens, this spring is going to allow the blade to trip or pivot forward instead of taking the full impact, which is gonna help prevent damage. Now, this trip spring is commonly used on many Meyer plow models, including the C series, the ST, STP, HM, HMP, and several DP and LP blades. And because of how widely this is used, it's one of the more common replacement springs for Meyer plows.

Now, just to give you the further confirmation, whether or not this is going to be what you need, let me just see if I can give you a rough measurement end to end. And it looks like we're sitting pretty close to, I'm gonna call it about 14 and 3/4 inches long end to end. See if I can try to show that to you. It's kind of tough to show you that on screen. So not quite 15 inches, about 14 and 3/4 inches, and this is the direct replacement from Meyer.

So you're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, shipment issues, or anything like that. If you happen to have any other questions, whether it's about this spring or anything else that we have here at etrailer, don't hesitate to reach out. We wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you need. Well, again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
