Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a real quick look at this Rack'Em Replacement Lower Spring. This is going to replace one worn or damaged spring for your Rack'Em Double Barrel Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist. And just to give you the overall measurements, let me retrieve my tape measure here and line this up so you can see it. So from end to end, from end of the hook to end of the hook, we are sitting right at 18 and a half inches long, and the spring is an inch and a half wide. Quality product and price . I’ve been using the same spring for 3 years and just added the same new spring to both sides of my new trailer. They work and assist very nicely. It was not easy finding a quality, durable, spring would hold a heavy tailgate and not interfere with the trailer usage of space.

After a year there was some minor surface rust starting to appear, but a little black paint took care of it. Still working as intended.
