What is the replacement part for Dexter 8-268 hub 3,500 lb axle with a bolt pattern of 5 on 4-1/2 ? The hubs reads 8-268 and not 8-248.

Since we know you have a Dexter hub with a 5 on 4-1/2 inch bolt pattern that fits a 3,500 lb axle the correct replacement hub would be the part # 84545BX that you referenced for an idler hub or the part # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K for a hub/drum for a brake setup.
