Which Trailer Wiring Harness for 2015 Toyota Sienna XLE

Question:
Hi etrailer experts, I recently ordered the Tekonsha 118498 for my 2015 Toyota Sienna XLE. The harness that came with it does not fit my Sienna. I have attached a picture of the rear light harness in the minivan along with the one from the 118498. Both your site and the Tekonsha site say that the 118498 is the correct part for my vehicle, but as you can see in the photos, the wiring is different and none of the plugs fit. Do you have an adapter kit to fit my minivan? If not, do you have a wiring diagram to reference so I can splice the proper wires in? Thanks, Roger

It seems that you have the wrong wiring kit.
From the 2015 model year up to the 2021, the Tekonsha # 118498 is only a fit for SE models of the Toyota Sienna which used different taillight assemblies than the other models. For models other than the SE, you'll use # 118648. I've provided a photo showing the differences in the connectors.
There isn't an adapter kit, unfortunately. You'll need to install the proper harness kit.
