I recommend replacing your entire brake actuator on your 2000 Jayco 12 tent trailer. The Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator # DM72VR is a bolt on actuator that will mount to your 3" channel like the Atwood 85830. This is the best route to go as it is nearly impossible to find any parts for the Atwood actuator since it has been out of production for so long.
The etrailer Hydraulic Trailer Brake Kit # AKUBRK-35 is compatible with the Demco actuator I recommended.
