Question:
2012 ford 150 Eco Boost I like this setup, but will it work correctly with a 500 pound tongue weight and 5000 pound GTW? thanks

Expert Reply:
A trailer with a 5000 lb GTW (gross trailer weight) could potentially have a tongue weight 10-15% of its GTW which would be 500-750 lbs. The Curt TruTrack # C17499 Weight Distribution system can handle tongue weights ranging from 500-800 lbs, so it'll work great for you.
You will also need a trailer ball with a 1-1/4 inch shank. for a 2 inch ball, use # A-90 or # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch ball.
