looking for the wiring connector for the split in my 2001 ford f350 it looks like the hopkins 40167 is it but when i plug my information in thru amazon it says it is not a fit?????? I have a 7 way at the bumber and 1 in the bed, i just replaced the 1 in the bumber to find a cob web spplice going to the bed.

We have run into this in the past.
The Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug # 40167 you mentioned is only confirmed to fit the 2002-2004 Ford F-350s, as that is when Ford officially went to the square connectors for installing the 7-way connector.
Your 2001 Ford F-350 should have a round connector and use the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector - 7' Long # C56070. If it does not have a round connector going into the rear of the 7-way connector on the bumper then compare the connector to the included picture of the # 40167. If it matches you will need to use that harness instead.
