2021 Tundra TRD Pro Spring Enhancement Kit For Increased Stability and Reducing Squat

Updated 07/20/2021 | Published 07/18/2021

Question:

Wondering if you have a system compatible with this specific truck. It has the upgraded fox shocks and I intend to pull a 28’ camper. Dry weight is 7500lbs. Looking for added stability and to reduce squat. I do have a WDH with dual bars, so should I use a standard or HD system?

If you're already using a weight distribution system and are still experiencing squatting then you may want to check to ensure you have the proper weight distribution system for your trailer. I recommend going back and making sure the system has been set up properly. You should also check your trailers fully loaded and ready to tow tongue weight, which should include the weight of anything in the truck bed behind its rear axle. You'll want to check that this weight isn't more than the tongue weight rating of the weight distribution system you're using.

Once you have checked those out if you are still interested in leaf spring enhancement for added stability, I recommend going with the heavy duty RoadActive kit item # RAS34FR. This is specifically designed for your 2021 Toyota Tundra and will easily bolt on and requires no drilling, cutting, or welding.
