Bolts Wont Thread On etrailer Hitch for 2014 Nissan Murano

Question:

I got one of your unit last year may be a bit longer and the bolts dont fit. can you check the size? What I got was JDF 10.9 M12x1.25. Also I got washers but no lock nuts, is that right? thanks BTW, fits perfect but the @#$ bolts dont fit. very close but no cigar. Maybe the right size but I need tapered bolts?

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98907 which is a fit for a 2014 Nissan Murano uses M12-1.25 x 30mm hardware. If the bolts will not thread in then you'll want to clean out the weld nuts in the frame with a wire brush and lubricant. If the bolts still won't thread in you'll need to tap the threads using a 12 mm x 1.25 tap.
