The Pollak 5th Wheel / Gooseneck T-Connector with 7-Pole - Ford, GM, Dodge, Nissan w/ Factory Plug # PK11893-11932 you were looking at is confirmed to fit your 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD as long as it has the factory 7-way connector.

This connector will require you to insert the pins into the new 7-way connector plug, and I went ahead and included the wiring diagram showing where each pin needs to get installed.
