Moving B&W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch from 2007 Silverado 1500 to 2008 Silverado 2500

will a bandw fit my 08 silverado 2500 if it came off of a 07 silverado1500

My B&W representative tells me that the 2007 Silverado (New Body or Classic Model) use a different Turnover Ball Hitch than the 2008 Silverado 2500. But, the good news is that instead of getting a whole new hitch, you can retain the center hitch section and purchase the vehicle specific install brackets separately as part # BWGNRM1067.

If you need to install a 7-way trailer connector in the bed of the 2008 Silverado 3/4 ton, you can use part # 41157. I've linked you to an install video showing the wiring being installed on a 2008 Silverado.
