Tankless water heaters. Do they use more propane than the reg tank heaters

Excellent question, and tankless water heaters like those from Furrion or Fogatti will actually use less propane than their tank counterparts. The reason for that is the tankless heaters only use propane as the water is being used, so if you hop in for a quick shower, for example, propane will only be used when you have the hot water on. Tank heaters, on the other hand, heat the whole tank of water (and take much longer to heat), so even if you don't use the whole tank of hot water with your shower, it still gets heated up, which expends more propane.
So that's one of the great things about the tankless units; they not only give you hot water on demand, they are far more energy efficient. For a tankless heater you can go with a unit from Furrion or Fogatti; if you go with the Fogatti, for install you will also need the Camco RV Water Heater Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve # CAM10423.
