How do I Know if I Have a Deep Drop Bumper?
Updated 07/01/2021 | Published 06/30/2021 >
Question:
I have a 2001 Ford F350 dually. There is some in the mid rear bumper section. I need to know if my bumper is a deep bumper style before I order a Class 5 receiver hitch. Can you please email me any pertinent measurements and a photo of a deep rear bumper on a Ford F350. Thank you.

Expert Reply:
I can definitely get you information about bumper styles, but the measurements do vary significantly between brands. With that being said, I included a picture of what a deep drop bumper will look like as well as an article on the different types of bumpers that can be installed on trucks.
