Question:

I have a 2019 Nissan Frontier pro x4 4.0 6cyl. Auto. It now has a Flat 4 wiring on now not factory kit from etrailer can’t remember if kit was t one or curt. Need to know if relays that were used in this kit is the same for a 7 pin. Also looking at the Redarc #red24fr and #red39fr contoured and plug and play wire. And do you have a 7 pin and flat 4 combined that is is plug in for my tuuck

The relays that were installed when you installed the 4-way connector in your 2019 Nissan Frontier ProX4 with the 4.0L engine are the exact same as the ones needed for the 7-way connector.

Since you already have the relays I recommend the Replacement Wiring Harness for Tekonsha Vehicle Wiring Harness - 7-Way Connector # 118282 as it does not come with the relays so it saves you a little bit of money compared to the complete kit.

Since you are wanting a 7-way and 4-way connector you will need to replace the included 7-way connector with the # 7- and 4-Pole Trailer Connector Socket w/ Mounting Bracket - Vehicle End # HM40975.

For a trailer brake controller the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR you were looking at is a fantastic choice due to it being low profile with only the knob being visible allowing you a factory looking installed.

To install it in your Frontier the Plug in wiring adapter # RED39FR will plug into the factory trailer brake controller port under the dash of your vehicle and will take care of all of the required wiring.
