Question:

So I have a 2006 Xterra I bought the kit redarc But I have a full lock brakes when I plug in I have power at the brake control leg and no power at the 12 volt charge wire Do I swap wire on my trailer plug or at the receiver end of plug I have a 2022 Nissan fro tier hoping to use this small trailer on both vehicles

The Pigtail # RED39FR that you received with your Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED24FR should match the functions on the OEM plug of both your 2006 Nissan Xterra and your 2022 Nissan Frontier. If the pins aren't matching up with the functions then either the wiring adapter you have was wired incorrectly, or your vehicle wasn't wired correctly.

Some other things to look into is making sure the wiring isn't damaged anywhere and causing the functions to cross over either in the connector or on your vehicle, and making sure your fuses are all installed and in good working order.
