Question:
I have a 2002 1500 Silverado with 3/4 ton spings. I want to put a hitch on to tow my car trailer with 7000 lb axles. What hitch do you recommend? I was looking at item # C14108

We do have a trailer hitch for your 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 that is the perfect option for towing, though the part number you mentioned is not a fit for a 1500. Instead, there is a different option I recommend from Curt:
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C14332
I verified with the manufacturer that this hitch is a fit for a 2002 Silverado 1500, and is great for towing because it has a 2 inch receiver with a 10,000 lb towing/1,000 lb tongue weight capacity (though I do recommend verifying the capacity of your truck in your owner's manual). It also installs in a way that will conceal the hitch tube, helping your truck keep its from the factory look.
I have added a link below to a video install for you to check out as well of the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C14332; it is on a different model year but the install will be the same for your truck.
