Will DuraLite Solar Power Kit Plug Into Trailer Pre-Wired For Solar

Question:
I have a Forest River Geo Pro travel trailer with a solar panel, controller and built in pre-wire for portable solar. Do I need an additional controller, for the portable solar? It looks as if I would be able to get the Duralite expansion solar panel and plug it directly into the solar on the side connection. Your tech help would be appreciated. Thanks

You're on the right track, though you will need a controller; the Go Power DuraLite Portable Solar Panel Expansion - 100 Watt # GP76FR is an additional panel you can add. So you can plug in the DuraLite solar panel, but what you will need is the panel as well as solar controller, which we do have as a kit:
- Go Power DuraLite Portable Solar Panel with Digital Solar Controller - 100 Watt # GP66FR
The solar controller is needed in order to maintain your batteries and ensure they do not overcharge. Then if you'd like you can add the DuraLite Portable Solar Panel Expansion - 100 Watt # GP76FR, though you will first need the kit with the solar controller and you're set.
