My new Tiguan S has hitch bolts on the bumper rather than the frame. Does the hidden hitch work on this? Are there others?

For your 2021 I recommend using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13381 as it is a confirmed fit for your 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan S. It features a 2" receiver allowing you to use a wider range of ball mounts and hitch mounted accessories. The receiver is rated for 525lbs of tongue weight and 3,500lbs trailer weight. Be sure to consult your VW dealer for your maximum tow ratings.
The EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7395 has not been confirmed to fit your Tiguan and based on your bumper bolts being on the bumper rather than the frame I don't see how it would work.
The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118811 will give you a 4-way flat connector for a trailer that you may be towing or to add auxiliary lights. The Curt Auxiliary Lights # C53201 allow you to place lights on the back of your cargo carrier or bike rack that may be obstructing the view of the lights on your Tiguan.
