Question:

I have the KIA SX Sorento w/o factory tow. I am finding conflicting part numbers and applications for the Curt and Tekonsha wiring harnesses. I even find conflicting applications between submodels of my vehicle. Can you verify part numbers for this newest of Sorento SX models?

For your 2021 Kia Sorento SX without the factory tow package you will need the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK26FR which is confirmed to fit all models of the Sorento including your SX model.

At this time (6/15/2021) this is the only plug in adapter that will not require any splicing into your factory wiring.

The Curt # C59236 will also work but requires you to splice into your factory wiring.
