Question:

Thule Older Fairing Attatchment. I am looking at my fairing and it does not seem compatible with the one that is being sold for the Aero Bar. Another question that was posted about this issue got a reply saying the the clip #853736 is the correct piece. However, it doesn’t fit to the aero bar, it only fits the side connecting to the older fairing. Is there an Aero bar clip that also fits into the older fairing?

I checked with Thule, and the only replacement clip that is available for aero bars are for the last generation of Thule fairings, the Thule AirScreen. If you have the AirScreen model TH8700, TH8701, TH8702, or TH8703 then what you need is the following part:

- Replacement Aero Bar Clip for Thule AirScreen Fairings # 8528583001

If you have anything older than the last generation AirScreen, there isn't a replacement clip, so a new wind fairing, the AirScreen XT, is the best option, and will fit Thule WingBar or AeroBlade crossbars; you can choose from the following lengths:

- 32" Long: AirScreen XT for Thule Crossbars # TH62WV

- 38" Long: AirScreen XT for Thule Crossbars # TH72WV

- 44" Long: AirScreen XT for Thule Crossbars # TH82WV

- 52" Long: AirScreen XT for Thule Crossbars # TH22WV
