Determining Which Grease Cap Fits Haul Master 4' x 8' Trailer

Updated 06/14/2021 | Published 06/11/2021

Question:

I have a Haul Master 1720 lb. Capacity 48 in. x 96 in. Super Duty Folding Trailer from Harbor Freight. I lost one of my bearing hub dust caps and need to replace it. I bought a 1.988 size cap which is to small. Do you know the correct size? Thanks

I would be happy to help you find the correct grease cap for your Haul Master 4' x 8' trailer but unfortunately we do not have a a breakdown of the parts you specific trailer uses.

You will need to use digital calipers like # PTW80157 to measure the hub bore of your trailer's hub to determine the correct grease cap as shown in the included diagram.

For example the Fulton Grease Cap - 2.333" Outer Diameter - Drive In # F001601 fits hubs that have a hub bore of 2.333" and is the next largest cap after the 1.988" cap that you mentioned was too small.

If you find you have a different hub bore diameter just let me know.

I included a video of the # F001601 for you to take a look at.
