Which Wedge for Reese Sidewinder for Use with B and W Patriot Hitch
Updated 06/09/2021 | Published 06/07/2021 >
Question:
I had the dealer install a sidewinder 20k on my new KZ sportster 353th13. I just got back from a trip and noticed there is some pivot at the pin. Compared wedge on unit with what reese suggested, and now you guys have another option. My hitch is a BandW Patriot 18k. Any help would be appreciated.

For a B and W Patriot hitch the wedge that will fit the best is the # SWW-06 as this is more of a custom fit for the hitch whereas the part # RP74FR is more of a universal fit and wouldn't be quite as tight.
I'd see if you see if there's play between the wedge and the hitch head and see if you can adjust it to allow it to fit better.
