Question:

I have a 2018 chevy 1500 4x4 . I would like to add some support for my truck camper that slides in. I was debating which one would be the best the sumo springs or the roadmaster active suspension custom leaf. what is your thought. I dont want air bags. thanks

I have a great solution for your 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 4WD that will add support when you are using your truck camper but not stiffen your ride when going without it. It is the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs - Rear Axle item # SS45MR. These springs have a 2,800 lbs capacity and offer a progressive load control. Under lighter loads the springs compress easily at first for soft engagement and a less bumpy ride. Under heavier loads like when you are using your camper the springs compress by as much as 80% for support. The springs work independently from each other to compensate for off-center loads and reduce body roll during sharp turns.

I do not recommend going with RoadActive Suspension system for this application.
