Will SumoSprings Help Reduce Rear Suspension Sag With Weight Distribution Kit
Updated 03/26/2021 | Published 03/24/2021 >
Question:
My question is about sumosprings. I am currently using a WDH E2 and it currently eliminates all sag down to about 3/4 of an inch. Would sumosprings help? If I install them would I have to reset/adjust my WDH? Thanks

Since the pre-load on the # SS95MR SumoSprings is typically about 1/2 to 1 inch, you'd very likely get some benefit from installing the SumoSprings. You shouldn't need to readjust the hitch.
The first thing I'd recommend doing is revisiting the set-up procedure for your Fastway e2 to make sure you have the proper amount of tilt in the head. Typically, increasing the rearward tilt of the ball platform will place more downward force on the spring bars which would provide more lift.
This being said, 3/4 of an inch of sag in the rear suspension would be considered well within the acceptable range.
