I live in Idaho, do I need this tuner to deactivate the MDS ? 2007 Dodge 1500 with 5.7 Hemi. or just some special replacement part.

I do believe the only way to deactivate the multi-displacement system on your 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 with 5.7Hemi is by using a tuner like the Edge EvoHT2 Hand-Held Performance Tuner - California Approved - Gas/Diesel # EP86040.
