Preventing Pre-Collision Warning of 2018 Toyota Highlander After Brake Controller Install

Just installed a Redarc brake controller, and now I have a precollision warning when Pressing the brake button down. I notice answer to a question about a reliance brake controller install, that a diode could be install. Would that work for the Redarc? Which wire and which direction would the diode need to be installed?
