Hi, Do you carry these replacements gas struts or the possible mechanical replacement Yakima listed as their part # 8007131? Thanks!

I checked directly with Yakima for you, and the struts for the Yakima Load Ranger 17 cargo box have been discontinued for some time, and there isn't any replacement we know is compatible with this cargo box. The best option we can offer is a replacement cargo box, which I know isn't the news you were wanting to hear but is the best alternative if your cargo box is no longer something you can use.
Yakima is a great brand and you can replace the Load Ranger 17 with another Yakima box with similar carrying capacity, the Yakima SkyBox NX 16 Roof Cargo Box # Y95AV.
There are also other, more economical options, like the 9 cubic foot Trunx Rooftop Cargo Carrier # TRX44FR.
