Yes, I would recommend the Malone Megawing # MPG207 for your Old Town Sportsman 120 PDL because the the Megawing gives you the versatility you need whether you want to mount it on top of your crossbar system or your kayak trailer. The Megawing comes with 2 load straps with cam buckles to secure the cradles to your crossbars as well as 2 bow/stern ties to secure your Sportsman to your vehicle.
If you decide to use a trailer to transport your Sportsman, I recommend the Malone MicroSport Trailer with V-Style Carriers for 2 Kayaks # MPG461GS. The great thing about the MicroSport Trailer is that it includes the same V-style cradles as the Megawing. Also, it comes with an extra set of cradles which allows you to transport an additional kayak if you choose.
For a recommended roof rack system for the Megawing and a recommended hitch receiver for the Microsport Trailer, I would be happy to make you a recommendation if you provide me with the year/make/model of your vehicle.
