Will I Have Full Access to the Cargo Box with Bikes on the Rack of the Yakima EXO System?

Question:

Assuming I am mounting to the Yakima Exo Swingarm 2inch hitch mount, can you open the box fully with the bikes still mounted above or do you need to take the bikes off in order to fully access the box below? Attached photo shows the set up I am thinking about purchasing. Thanks

Yes, you will be able to open the cargo box on the Yakima EXO System with 2 Bike Rack and Enclosed Cargo Carrier # Y34ZR while the bikes are still mounted on the bike rack. The top portion of the rack has a swing away function (in addition to the hitch swinging function) that will allow you to access/open the cargo box. I went ahead and attached a teammate reviewing the EXO system and showing its functionality. The top swingaway feature starts at 5:10 of the video.
