Can I Open My Rear Doors on My 2022 ProMaster 3500 with the Yakima EXO # Y34ZR?

Question:

I read your post that the Yakima EXO system will work with a promaster allowing the rear doors to open fully. I have also seen many post from promaster owners saying the doors will not open. I need to know how you got this to work when others could not. It is too big and expensive to make a mistake.

When determine if you can fully open swing-out doors on your 2022 ProMaster 3500 with the Yakima EXO # Y34ZR, it really depends on how far your doors swing when in the open position. While the 90-degree swing has not been tested spcificially on a 2022 Ram ProMaster 3500 to confirm for sure, it will be enough to open your doors enough to access the back (if not able to fully open the doors).

I went ahead and attached a photo of the # Y34ZR used with a newer Mercedes Sprinter to give you perspective. Also, I went ahead and attached our available dimensions of the EXO SwingBase for your convenience.
