Will Dexter Brake Actuator Adapter DX35FR Fix Issue with Dexter Actuator and Ram Brake Controller

Question:

I have a 2017 Ram with a factory controller .my new trailer had disc brakes and the problem is the actuatorBrakerite starts to run very slowly as soon as I turn on the key.i realize it is not to run until the brakes are applied.i see thatDexter sells a EOH adapterpart#DX35FR.will that adapter solve my problem? Thanks

Integrated brake controllers in general don't work great with electric over hydraulic actuators and what you are describing is exactly that. If you use the adapter part # DX35FR you controller will sense the trailer connection like it needs to and will work like it should.
